craziness!

Hello All! (or, the two people that read my LJ :-p )

things, as usual, are a bit crazy... I don't think I ever have a sane moment! Things are progressing along very nicely right now. I have a proposal coming to me tomorrow for my merchandising website! The site should be up and running within 60 days of signing the contract!!!!!! I already have a couple of things in the works as far as merchandise, but without a graphic artist, it's a bit hard to put the pieces together! I'm also working on that...

(Right now, I'm going to let my mind go... it seems as if I have some things I need to get off my chest b/c I feel it neccessary to close my eyes and type... I hope I don't scare you all :-P) You know, it's been really crazy since I've been here. I've already had girls playing with my emotions, some somewhat difficult days at work... and it feels like my personal life is in shambles... bu twhat's funny is that it's not! I'm still getting used to my surroundings, and sometimes I feel pretty lonely. I do hang out w/ a guy from work, but that's really about it.

One thing I'm really enjoying is not having cable! I think of sitting and watching TV, and I instantly feel myself get tired and lazy. Not having TV makes me stay at work longer (I'm there right now), makes me look forward to going home and reading... and it doesn't make me stay up late! It's amazing! I'm thinking of going without it for a little while longer and see what happens.

Coming out here and being alone has definitely given me time to examine myself... finding out what I"m really made of, what I can bear, learning experiences. I know one thing's for sure, my spirituality has become a lot stronger. I've taken this time to read a lot about God, spirituality, how to better myself, how to be a better Christian... a lot of my time has gone to that. I've been buying a lot of books and reading about religion, spirituality, paranormal, etc. I've always had an intense interest in the paranormal... in fact, I had considered making paranormal psychology my major at one point! I don't regret not going into the field, but I still love to read about it. I've always been very interested in astral projection... I did buy a book about it, and he has some really interesting things to say! I also read a lot of Sylvia Browne books... I have a bunch that I had to leave behind since my poor little car was packed up to the brim! In fact, I'm still waiting for a picture from redsaxy , which she took as I was pulling away from Allentown. It was crazy how much I and my father packed into that tiny little car!!! Anyway, one thing that Browne and the astral guy agree with is their opinion about catholicism... I've always had a gut feeling about a lot with religion, and they both have the same perspective I do... I'll refrain from listing it all here since i'm sure most of yo udon't care... but if you'd like to know, I will copy from both texts and post it... or comment w/ your email and I'll send it along.

My apartment is great, though it's very empty. I don't think I've completely realized that I'm across the country yet! I sit there and think, "man, I should go home and visit my parents!" only to realize that it would cost around $400 and that they're not an hour away anymore. I definitely miss teaching drumline and marching band, but I don't think I'll really have the time to do it, especially when the season comes along. That time is going to be insane! I'm really excited for it, though.

I got to walk on the site where the arena is being built... it's really crazy to think that this building will be up and running by October or November! I got to walk where my store is... I really thought it was going to be bigger, but it's not. I'll full out admit, I'm really worried about hitting my sales number for the year. It's not a lot of room for a lot of sales that need to come through. I'm sure I'll be ok, but for the year, I have my work cut out for me! I'll need to rely a lot on my merchandising website. I'm sure I'll make a good amount of sales once it starts up. The buzz is definitely around town about us, and I know a lot of people are asking about merchandise. I'll have some really neat pieces coming out for all ages groups... I seem to lean a lot towards the younger, hipper, audience b/c there is so much cool merchandise out there! We'll see if it picks up. I designed a polo for our staff that we all wore to a bowling event... and man, everyone was asking where they could get one! I'm going to make that one available for the public, but a little different from the staff polo.

Anyway, I should get back to work... comment if you'd like! I miss you all....
