What a week

I am very frustrated right now and need to vent.......we have this wonderful state agency now called the Governor's office of technology. Which basically means that they took over all of our computer techs and now are charging crazy prices for us to keep using them. On top of that we are not in charge of our software anymore and they mandate what we use. I have to have office 2003 and office 2007 on my computer because not everyone in the state has 07 yet and I have databases in both that I need to work on. I went to help DMV with a problem just now and my 03 has been removed, so I couldn't do anything. I called the GOT help desk to get 03 reinstalled (for the second time) and the guy said "is there a reason you need both on your computer". I almost said "Because I f*cking said I do" but I held myself back and explained who I was and why I needed it. I am so sick of this. We setup programs for people but they insist on setting the permissions for who uses those programs. We can't add or delete from those user groups. Something that takes seconds to do, they are charging crazy prices for. I can't wait for our director to do a cost analysis of the past year just to show how much more we are paying to the OT compared to what we paid when we paid our own employees to do the same work. It is unbelievable. Our wonderful governor is such a scum sucking piece of crap and the sad thing is that the media makes him out to be the greatest thing since sliced bread. I wish we could get someone to run for governor around here that was interested in more than filling up their pockets and their friends pockets with as much money as they can. This is the same man that gave RETIRED judges a raise. Excuse me?!?!?!?! ANYWAY

Scott and I have no idea where we are even putting everything yet. It is crazy. Poor thing is home sick right now though.
