hey, I know that I don't post LJs much, but I thought I should get this off my chest. PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF ________ (FRIENDS, FAMILY, PETS or WHATEVER!!!!!) DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE!!!!!!! Here at UCSC, I believe that we've already had something like 3 serious accidents, with the end results of two of them ending in alcohol-related driving deaths, and it's only the 3rd week of classes. This hit home for me, 'cause just last Monday, the 10th, someone from my college and with whom I had a few classes with last year, died after a drunk driver plowed into her friend's car on the highway (she was the passenger). Sarah Guerrero, R.I.P. 20 years old is too young to die...
SO PLEASE, BE SAFE OUT THERE!! IF YOU'RE GONNA DRINK, HAVE A DESIGNATED DRIVER!!! OR, CALL A TAXI, or SOMEONE... O.K, enough preaching, you've heard it all before I'm sure, and yet still some people continue the stupidity *shakes head*. When will people learn?
