Venting about my brother
I have roughly one month to go until my mother's estate will be completed and all monies dispersed.
I had to drop the plan to collect the money he 'borrowed' from Mom. I have a copy of a note "in lieu of a promissory note" agreeing that he owes $60,000.00 to Mom. The original dsappeared after he moved in with Mom for a month or so. There are additional checks for almost another $30,000.00, but, again, not enough proof to collect.
This is in addition to Bruce having stolen my Uncle Barney's entire estate all those years ago. I had a judgement from the court to collect on that but was unable to get anything. He is so good at dropping off grid and avoiding the collection process.
I am disgusted and disappointed with him. When my parents first divorced, he would tell me that we had to depend on each other. Everytime I trusted him, he has screwed me over. I am so tired of this.
After the estate settles I plan to drop all contact. As far as I'm concerned, he is dead.
