About Justin's trip to Germany...
Justin participated in a six-week exchange student program to Germany during the summer of 1998. We had to get up very early in the morning and take him to the airport. Right before we left, he announced that he had forgotten something and ran back up to the apartment.
When Richard and I got back from the airport after seeing Justin fly away, we found this message written on the refrigerator:
Dear Family,
I will miss you while I am away. Sometimes we think that we don't spend enough time together, or there's always something to do and someone to talk to. I just wanted to tell you I love you both and will miss you while I'm away. Thanx to the best Parents ever!
