Meh.

I wrote a prequel to the little story I submitted to TMBG Fanfic... though I'm pretty sure no one's read it (I don't blame them). I kinda feel like an outsider in there... the one who's not from America who just RANDOMLY SHOWED UP AND PUT UP A SHIT STORY. Anyway. Prequel. Summary.

Mary FitzGerald and Ben Lloyd have finally solved the key to time. When a man builds a programmable mechanism that could allow for the bending of timelines, Ben and Mary have to decide if they want to risk the miracle of time travel.

That's the best I can do without giving it all away. There is precious little John Linnell time in there, just a cameo (because someone lives right next door to him and his basement isn't soundproofed), so I don't think it worthy to post on TMBG Fanfic. Though I am working on a slash for them... Jeez, I hope someone out there likes it. I think I've figured out a way to do it so I don't have to post the Quizilla link... I'll test that now.

Aww yiss, I hope it works... WHat's it called? A cut? Huh.

Anyway, to Journal my Live (wow that was bad), yesterday I went to my friend's birthday party, for which I had made four cakes and a tray of sushi (yum). The cakes were fun. I iced with fondant. Fondant is a hobby of mine, ever since I was a kid using the packaged stuff from Tesco. I make my own now. I did a sort of marbley thing with black food dye, so it looked like, well, marble, then used blue food dye and a paintbrush (a new one, so as to prevent possible poisoning (alliteration!!)) to make the Spurs logo (go Hotspurs-- counting down the days until the season start) and write out 'Audere est Facere' (if you don't know what that means... you're an Arsenal fan. XD). I'm still working on my sushi rolling skills, so it didn't look too great, but I made spicy salmon rolls and also avocado things. I'm going to make noodles tomorrow (yes, actually MAKE actual noodles), in my quest to become master ninja chef. Wish me luck, self, because no one reads this...
