Yes, I'm still alive!
I've just been super busy with work and Russ and such.
I'm actually leaving for my 4th trip this afternoon. I have been invited to join the research program for fishing in the Gulf, and have graciously accepted that I will be on cleaner boats with nicer people. I am helping work on the edibility of Gulf fish due to the oil spill and its consequences on the environment.
Yay, work!
Russ and I have been dating 9 months (tomorrow, for those keeping track), and we are doing wonderfully! He's so sweet and romantic, and we've been talking about our future together alot in the past few months. I'm not in a rush or anything, but I am so excited for us to be together. <3
Now I need to finish getting ready for the boat, nap, and head out to the lab to get my paperwork and information on the trip. Pray there's no hurricane this time! (We got sent home early last trip due to the hurricane running through the Gulf).
