OhMeGeeeee

Wow I haven't updated in a long time I apologize. It's been so busy and I just haven't thought of being on here. I'm surprised no one -cough- Mal -cough- got on my case about it. Oi Oi Where to start. Well I guess I'll start with vacation. Last week the family and I went on vacation to the Virgina/Tennessee border. Yes I mean the border. We walked down the street and the one side of the yellow line was Virgina, the other side was TN. So we left on a Tuesday and drove half way down to our destination and ended up in Harrisburg. I think? Well I got to try some new root beer there, Glory Days, so the place doesn't matter much. Then we hit, well I'll call it VATN and settled in. That was Wednesday. Stopped at the cabin we rented, took a nap, and headed out to Bristol Motor Speedway for our first race of the week. Shopped around and stuff at the trailors and watched the Hooters cars (hahah) and the Truck Series race. I didn't really know anyone in the Hooters series and I only knew a few in the Trucks. The next day (Thursday) was Fan Appreciation Night downtown. Yes downtown which means on a little street with buildings on the side where you are crammed in with *at the end of the day* a total of 50,000 people. It was hot and crowded. I was miserable and didn't get to meet any of the drivers so we just left. I did get a free retractable Sharpie though :D and some free Swedish fish. Them fishes are good. Friday we left the house eh...around 3pm to go to the Busch series race. We watched Busch qualifying and Nextel qualifying then the Busch series race. I cheered for Reed Sorensen. Why? Hmm I don't think that its the fact that he's 19 and he looks a bit like Shawn Limpright :O :D O yes. He's very nice looking :D Lol but then at the end of the night I was rooting for anyone except Ryan Newman. Who eventually won. God dammit. My dad didn't let me forget that one...he still isn't. The race ended very late...12:30 ish after starting at 7 something. There were like 3 rain delays and everything was soaked. Thankfully we had our -happy music- TRUSTY PONCHOS. Hmm so we got home around 1/1:30am. Woke up. Saturday. Even though it had been for a bit. But it was officially my BirthDAY..not morning. I'm trying to deny the fact Newman won on my birthday. We went to the track early since we had signed up for a Track charity where you walk around Bristol MSpeedway. That was crowded too. I was very frustrated. I have a low tolerance for stupid people and when you put them in large quantities in small areas...my brain tells me bad things.Ugh. So after a few photo opprotunities and junk on the track we went off in search of -happy music- KURT BUSCHS TRAILOR YAY! Ok. Heres where we flash back to last year -flashback the condensed version- Man who works at Kurt Busch trailor likes my shirt. We talk to man at trailor (whos name is Joey). Storm stricks. Family hides. -fastforward a few weeks- Family sees Joey at Watkins Glen. He remembers us.Good. -Friday on vacation-Mom stops to talk to Joey to see if he's the same guy...Joey says yes he remembers us. Mom asks Joey favor of meeting Kurt Busch on Saturday (my birthday) so we don't have to get there early to get tickets. Joey agrees. YIPPEE. -present- We go find Kurt's trailor...alittle before 2 which is when he is supposed to be there. We walk up and Mr. Joey tells me not to be scared and that I better talk to Kurt or he'll hurt me (haha not really). So he gives me my ticket and I venture into the already growing line. I wait. Mom makes small talk with people around us. Then my mom gets out of line since we only have one ticket for me :D I turn the corner and I can see Kurt (for anyone who doesn't know or hasn't figured out he's my favorite AND hes the 2004 Nextel Cup Champion). Man I am like so fricken nervous I always think I'll make a fool out of myself. Joey is Kurts like helper person and hands him the stuff to get signed and tells him where to sign it. I put up my hat and stuff. I can tell that Mr. Joey told Kurt it was my birthday. Kurt tells me happy birthday and I get this stupid grin on my face. He hands me my hat and then I ask him for a picture and I get the picture with him which for all my school friends WILL be next to my Karl pics on my portfolio :D. So then I got out of line so no one beat me up for dawdling. Heh my hat says 'Happy Birthday, Kurt Busch' I am only wearing it on special ocassions. Teehee. Oh yeah then we stayed for the race too the Sharpie 500. Kurt did well but he dropped alot in the end. Matt Kenseth won, which is good, atleast it wasn't some dickus. Then we came home. I came back in the middle of cross country practice. Ugh on a work out day. Holy crap that was torture. I'm dead serious when I say I couldn't lift my leg at all. I am still so out of shape so I have ALOT of catching up to do. Well I hope this entry is long enough for you guys. It's pretty lame so I'm sorry I don't have any parts about me insulting some stupid person. Jeff always likes those entries. Ok well *hopefully* I'll update later. Fo sho,
**Corinne
