i just found out today there was a lesser adjutant stork chick hatch and i can't believe i'm not there to see it! i will most likely go there over my weekend to catch a glimpse at the chick. this is fucking exciting. i guess i can maybe use it as an excuse to get a fucking prospect park zoo ID.
work has been good in spite of the total chaotic shit storm i seem to have walked into. we are getting inspected by the association of zoos and aquariums and everyone is stressed. honestly even if your zoo is perfect you worry. aza accreditation can make or break you. blah blah blah. i had one real day of training the first day, but we were short after that so day 2 and 3 have been interesting. i am kind of on my own tomorrow.
