so close to feeling alive
Since my past entry (and a wee bit before) I had been having trouble eating. Everything (but candy?) made me nauseous. I think today is the first day in almost a week than I've mostly bypassed that.
Spent the night at the Orchard Garden Hotel by the Chinatown gate last night. It was sustainable and awesome. To turn on the lights & AC, you needed to put your room key into this slot by the door. That way, assuming everyone takes their key on the way out, it saves energy.
I should be a hotel critic. That would be the best job ever.
Next week I leave for Riverside. Boo... I found out tonight that a couple I had met at fanime (Dan & Elizabeth) were looking for roomates for a two bedroom $800 a month... that would mean I could have my own room for $98 less than I pay to share a room in Riverside. Also, tuition at SJSU is a bazillion times less than UCR ($1700 a semester versus $3000+ a quarter). Booo...
Okay. Should I spend Thursday night-Saturday afternoon in Davis and then Saturday night-Sunday night in the bay area
OR
Thursday night through Saturday afternoon bay area and then Saturday night through Sunday night Davis?
I'm thinking the first one because it gives me MORE Davis time...
