The wind is so bad here it woke me up once early this morning but I managed to doze back off til around 1:45 when I was pretty sure things must be flying around wildly in the back yard. They weren't, I looked. But it definitely sounded like it. I let the dogs out for a few minutes and actually stood and watched for a bit to make sure they wouldn't blow away. LOL

So I gave up on sleeping, fixed coffee and took this

on depression, thanks to the lovely hollie_is_right. I'm definitely a summer baby, I cant wait til it gets warm and sunny and I can soak up a good mood again.

My F-List is full of spoilers for "Big Love", apparently the mods in that community haven't started cracking down on the folks posting things without a cut. heh. So far, I've not managed to stagger into any real "Sopranos" spoilers though. I'll probably try and watch both of those Wed evening. Then maybe Thursday I can catch up with "Dr Who"..

Still no word on the shipping of my jersey.. it isn't going to make it by the weekend I bet :/

It is going to be a long, sleepy night at work I think. Blah. I'm half afraid to call and see how many patients there are today because it was a strange weekend. The Observation unit was closed since they're a mon-fri gig AND they closed the "surgical floor" (formerly med-surg) because all the post-ops except one was discharged by Sat. and their director decided a few weeks ago to make them strictly surgeries and orthopedics. Shot themselves in the foot there imho. They dropped from a 40+ bed status to only 22 beds by a) re-opening the north wing as the Obs unit and b) making their remaining 22 rooms all privates (which is a good idea imho), so therefore, they couldn't take the medical patients and still have room for surgeries on a "normal" day. But the weekends are different in a small hospital. Nobody wants to be sick on a weekend, so they stay home til Sunday night or Monday. LOL

It's hard to say what is happening over there today.

Health care sucks :) Til payday...

*edit*

I called, we've got a whopping 6 patients but if they dont discharge anymore, at least I won't have to work alone. *crosses fingers*

quiz, weather, work
