The charming and intelligent Shark Hat, the charming, intelligent and tall sibling, Barracuda Hat, and the charming, intelligent and crazed slavedriver parent, Pike Hat, have all been confined to their beds by a strange flu-like bug, luckily of short duration. S-H and B-H have recovered. P-H has hopes of being better by today.
Breaking news: This morning, the parent's partner, Butterfly Socks {*}, has rung up to say that he is ill. Christmas is going to be held tomorrow in the Hat household.
For those for whom it is a) applicable and b) happening today, have a good one!
(Don't feel too sorry for us. We have a beautiful tree to look at, lots to eat, lots to read, and four computers between three of us. I myself, for example, am lying on the couch reading Yuletide fics, with a mince pie close to hand in case my blood sugar level drops below "syrup" at any time.)
