Avoiding football in Pan's Labyrinth

Yesterday being stupidbowl sunday, I cleverly made plans with my friend Ed, so as to avoid having to sit around whilst Carl and our other friends watch "the big game". You see I know that Ed loathes football as much as I do, so I figured-why don't we see a movie? So I was looking at what was playing, and spotted "Pan's Labyrinth" playing in the middle of the afternoon. A foreign film to boot! Yay!!! Of course, Ed had already seen it at the Palm, but he was into seeing it again. I'm so glad! It was such a great film, as far as scenery, effects, etc. The on location stuff was amazing. Neat story too. Anyway, we had a good time, and got to visit for awhile afterwards. He burned some Lacuna Coil cd's for mee too. Pretty cool band. I really hope my buddy Ed comes back to the guild. I miss seeing him regularly. So once I was certain that the football was about over, I went over to Brad and Janet's because I needed to visit with everyone there too, and not seem like a foreign film snob. I was a tad overdressed in my bohemian wear, but then I like it that way! So all in all, a pretty good day. Except I drank two jagerblasters at Brad's and then couldn't fall asleep till around 4 am.
