Kearney Park Faire
This was a decent faire. Well, I should say decent trip. The faire was quite small. And cold. And rainy. But had a grand time eating Indian Food and marauding the sweets counter at India Sweets and Spices! All told, I'm sure I ate seven besan burfis, 5 rasgullas, and countless gulab jamuns. I still have a full can I brought home for Thanksgiving. (yes, all diet bets were off over the course of my trip) Anyway, it was warmer on Sunday, and my dear dear friends Kat and Jim were there, so I was very happy! Roomed with Missy, and we went hot tubbing, and even had a cat that hung out with us in our room. We stayed at Best Western Garden Court Hotel, and it was very cool. All of the downstairs rooms have glass walls on the courtyard side, with sliding glass doors. We had a nice view of the parklike courtyard, and pool. It looked the the little parks in small towns with the gazebos and everything. I think we'll stay there every year from now on. I'm pretty tired today, mostly from the drive, but feel good.
