Ok, I don't usually update this often, but this is necessary. I just want to give a woop woop to online bill pay from Bank of America. At first, looking at the commercials, I was like, eh, I rather like writing checks. I'll stay with the traditional way. But one month, July I believe (maybe August) I didn't pay two bills. Not because I was poor (even though I was, but I would have scrounged it up somehow). Somehow I didn't get both statements that month. Two different companies. So I had to pay over 100 dollars in late and overage charges between them. I was heated. It was weird because other than those, I've never paid a bill late in my life, and even though sometimes I just throw my mail into my mail slot on my desk and forget about it for like 4 weeks, I couldn't even find these particular bills ever, so I'm sure I never received them. But whaddya gonna do?
So I started this online bill pay, and it's awesome. I can see when I've last paid bills, and organise them by paydate so I know when I have to pay which bill, which are coming up soon, etc. It's awesome. And if I'm away from home, I can still remember to pay my bills. Kewl! And now that my grace period is over :-(, I can pay all my student loans without forgetting because for SOME REASON even though I've changed my address twice, my DirectLoan still goes to my NJ address and my mom only mails things over like bimonthly.
So, I posted before about
this bus driver I don't like. Unfortunately, she didn't get fired as I hoped when I complained to MBTA before. Anyway so today, some lady got off the bus and left her wallet, so this good samaritan told the driver he was going to run and give it back to her (even though it was roughly -1204839 degrees outside). So he left his stuff on the bus and ran to give it to her. VROOOOOOOOMMMMM! That lady was gone as soon as his foot left the last step. I was like dude, burn. BURN! I'd like to complain about that to MBTA but I don't think it's legitimate. But still I want to complain just so maybe once her file gets thick with customer complaints (it can't only be me) she'll get fired. I think it would do everyone good. She clearly hates her job; her passengers clearly hate her (I have never seen anyone greet her or thank her like we do to other drivers. I used to but she always ignored me so I stopped bothering.). So everybody wins if she goes away.
