June catch-up
Had a wonderful time in Alaska last month. My longtime friend Jennise, her family, and I took a one-week cruise from Anchorage to Vancouver. I then stayed in Vancouver four extra days to do some sightseeing.
I've frantically-busy at work since I returned (good news: my contract at Semi-Benevolent Big Oil has been renewed again, on my sixth anniversary there), but I have been writing and making progress on a new novel.
One of the highlights of the cruise was the day spent on a photo-safari at Mendenhall Glacier and on Auke Bay, near Juneau. I saw (and photographed) so many wonderful sights!
