I still love Pushing Daisies.
And I'm going to miss this show oh, so much when it's gone.
- The Wonderfalls crossover was just subtle enough to be adorable. Aw, Muffin Buffalo! I loved the hat! Marianne Marie Beetle's gotten sneaky since leaving the trailer park.
- I know many will probably be unimpressed with the re-visitation of a storyline that was supposed to be laid to rest, but I always enjoyed the Olive/Ned sexual tension - unrequited and one-sided as it may be.
- Speaking of sex, the show really lays innuendo on thick by making it . . . well, charming:
"I did it with your dad."
Ned and Olive in flagrante delicto in the trunk. (Or not.)
Tingly - "and not just in the nether-region."
Hee!
- So Dwight's dead. With only a few episodes left, I hope this doesn't mean we won't find out what his full story was.
- At first, I was afraid that Lily might be the goner in the cemetery - since she wrote that note saying she was meeting Dwight there. But that actually happened the next day. (Darn flashbacks confuzzled my brain.)
- "Here lies Dwight, here lies his gun. He was bad, and now he's done."
I love Emerson. (Although burying Dwight with his gun may not have been the best idea. Especially since there's a guy around who can wake the dead. Emerson should
read more.)
- I think I'm liking the potential for the storyline with Chuck's father. I'll be anxious to see how that plays out. (Even with so few episodes left.)
