My Schedule for This Year - *major eyeroll*
Good Grief!
I learned today that my schedule will be exactly the same as last year. That means I have the same duty (In-School Suspension, which was the absolute bane of my existence last year!) and 4th period lunch (which is practically still breakfast).
GRRRRR!
My principal said, when it came to ISS duty, only me and one other teacher had the necessary schedule to fill the position. When I complained a bit about how I dealt with all that crap last year, she told me she assigned me because she couldn't trust him to deal with the disciplinary problems in that room. While it's nice to be recognized by my boss, I just wish *this* wasn't my reward for a job well done. Sheesh!
To pay me back, she did promise me a cushy duty next year, and the promise of a big favor when I need to call one in. I suppose it can't hurt to be owed a favor by the boss.
There will be a fair amount of hair-pulling over the inevitable irritation of ISS this year, but at least it's a job I know how to do. I just don't like it.
