Remember the racing stripe?

Jan 10, 2008 07:57

Pearsey's insurance company agreed to pay for the repairs to my car last week. The shop I chose called me back yesterday and told me that they could put me in for repairs by Monday next week. They were very courteous, but also seemingly hurried. I plan to empty the car before I take it to the shop to minimize the risk of losing items to nosey repairmen. The end result should be the disappearance of the racing stripe that Pearsey's left on the drivers side of the car. It will cost their insurance carrier $1600 to complete the repairs. In the end, I get my car repaired, and they don't get to enjoy being sued.

In other news, I just finished this post using voice recognition software -- it was very robotic and slow. I have not used the software much because Janet does not like listening to me babble. Therefore, it sits lingering without any training, thus my troubled effort.
