(no subject)
So today has been a long day. I woke up at four to go pick up Jenn's happy ass at her father's with the intent of going to the beach. But the low tire pressure came on and we decided just to go back and watch the movie, that, and we had time constraints. What movie, you ask? Dogville, the proof that I am a freaking awesome friend because she mentioned she really loved it and only caught the last half. That and it was five dollars. But it was intresting, a lot of B-list actors, but it was... ionno. It reminded me of Our Town if you threw in a bit of Sin City. At least, the second to last one with the chick in leopard print. So mom left in the car and I had to drive her back in Buck, King of All Circumstance.
All was fine, except apparently somewhere along the line the muffler fell off. I found this out after I woke up from my pre-work nap. But a long day was had, I did a shitty close 'cause I'm there at open today and called Brad. Everyone came and got me and we set off for sterno again. Connors was back in town, this was our event. We made a giant smiley face out of sterno. A giant smiley face. On fire. It was pretty awesome. It's now Brad's background. But running from cops was had and we hung out in the mall parking lot until mall security came by and told us to get the fuck out. So we parted ways and I made it back here.
It was really sad that when I commented that it's sad that Andi and I aren't really friends anymore, her reply was "You will be again." I don't know. Just her voice. That I was spending this time with her, maybe the last for awhile, and I was really sad when that came up. But, ya know? I'm missing the person I consider my best friend and the person who knows me best on the planet. That feels kinda weird. I wanted to call her and talk for a few minutes but I didn't feel welcome to. I don't know anymore.
I work an open to close tommorow, and I'm not looking forward to it. I have no New Years Eve plans, apparently, unless Jenn... But who knows. I may end up just sitting here.
Btw, it's Sam's birthday and everyone should say happy birthday because she's a cool kid who comes to see me, even if I can only look up and smile.
