I went out to run some errands today. Katie and I started by going to Target together, where I got a new tube for my bike's back tire (the self sealing kind!) and Simpsons Season 6 on DVD, 'cause ... well ... you know, the obession and all. It was on sale for $30, which is even cheaper than Amazon has it. After that, Katie went to Old Navy, and I headed into Boston. I went to GameStop to preorder/reserve my copy of Nintendogs, the chihuahua version, which I was told they don't get many people asking for. I figure it'll kill a lot of time on the 34 hour train ride, though I may feel weird yelling commands at my DS puppy. Then I headed to the Army Barracks where I got a canvas army duffle bag for only $20. It's huge. Not the biggest one they had, but bigger than my other duffle bag. Finally, I hit up the Virgin Megastore to get an iPod USB Power Adapter, 'cause there's no way my iPod's battery is going to make the entirety of the Amtrak trip to Omaha.
