This morning on the T ride in, I listened to DJ Irene "Global House Diva". Man that took me back. Unfortunately, it also took me back to
Jason. (for those of you who don't know, Jason Burgeson was a friend of mine and a bunch of people on my friends list back from the Boston Raves mailing list days. He was carjacked after going to a club in Rhode Island, and was taken to a golf course and executed with his friend, Amy Shute.)
But enough of the sadness. I've already cried on the T once today, I don't need to be doin' it at work now, too.
I'm thinkin' a small group of us will be going to see The Aristocrats on Saturday. Not sure on where and what time, but if you wanna see it with us, block off the evening. Jim and I tried to go see it last night at a special sneak preview, but Jim had difficulties finding parking, and it was full by the time we tried to go in. I was hoping since I had already checked in to get the passes earlier, that we could just go right in when we got there. Unfortunately fate had different plans for us. And if I'm going to see this movie of 100 comedians telling the same joke with the most obscene and indecent things imaginable by the comic mind, then I'm going to have to share the experience with other people.
I'll keep you posted on details as they unfold.
If you want to see Cartman tell his grandfather's version of The Aristocrats joke from "South Park", then
ifilm has a video clip of it! (click on "South Park joke") There's also trailers, clips, and interviews. Lastly, check out the reader comments. That just proves this movie is going to rule.
