So, someone left a 20GB iPod here. It's been unclaimed for a couple hours now. We usually give a week before we claim anything left, so I'm going to resist the urge to snag it, incase the person comes. After a week, then it's mine.
Rise and I talked about it. I said that she should have it since I have my DS to listen to music. She said that no, I should have it as a going away present. I stopped resisting, 'cause I want it. She also asked me what I would do if the person came after a week and asked about it. I told her I would give it back. I think anyone would understand a lost & found item being taken by employees after a grace period. I would respect that it's their iPod, and I would want my iPod back if I lost it, so I would give it back to them, and I don't think they'd be pissed off that I temporarily took possession of it. Atleast I'd be giving it back.
So, next Thursday, if no one comes by asking about it ... I get a free iPod. I would just have to get all the cables and shit for it.
