Hi!! So, some time last year, I subscribed to the YouTube channel for John Corvino, from whom I've shared videos on this journal in the past. Tonight, I've watched his most recent upload, a lecture he gave entitled "What's Morally Wrong with Homosexuality?" John Corvino combines humor with awesomness as he explores some of the more common arguments against homosexuality. Basically, he says that you can have any sort of morals you want, but you better have a good reason for using them to condemn others. If you have an hour, or a little time off and on, I really encourage you to watch this. It's well presented, easy to follow, funny, and most of all enlightening. Even if you think you fully understand your reason for supporting equality, he might point something out that you never even considered before. This guy knows his stuff and you'll wish everyone in the world would take just one hour to listen to him! He, Wayne Self, and Dan Savage have been competing as my Activist Crush for almost a year now (lol) but I think John Corvino is definitely my Moral Crush. I absolutely love him. And if you have a chance to check out ANY of his other videos, I highly recommend them too. You won't regret it.
