Tell Me a Joke

For some reason, I want to tell someone a joke, so lucky you, flist. hehe


Lion, the king of the jungle, was in a very bad mood. Thinking a good joke would be good for him, he called his minions together.

"I'm in a bad mood," said Lion. "I want each of you to tell me a joke. Make it a good one that everyone will laugh. If you fail to make one laugh, the joke teller will be eaten by me." He looked at everyone pointedly. "You, Monkey, you go first."

So Monkey told a joke. Everyone laughed.

Except Turtle. To everyone's horror, Lion ate Monkey.

"You, Elephant, tell us a joke," roared Lion.

So Elephant told a joke. Everyone laughed... except Turtle.

So, Lion ate Elephant.

"You, Zebra, tell us a joke."

Zebra looked around nervously, but told a joke.

In the middle of his joke, Turtle started laughing.

Lion frowned. "Turtle, Zebra isn't done telling the joke."

Turtle laughed. "Monkey's joke is funny!"

Okay, please tell me a good one, too. Don't worry, I won't eat you. ^^
