[how about the park?] delinquent_monk February 19 2011, 22:22:01 UTC
Miroku had been spending most of his time exploring--this world was unlike anything he had ever seen before, and he had a mind to investigate all of it. It would have been lying to say that he hadn't been a bit jealous of Inuyasha for being able to visit Kagome's world through the well, and while he knew that this wasn't it, it was still something. He had investigated most of the plaza already, so today he had ventured east, only to find that most of the land to the east of the plaza was flora. Miroku liked nature well enough, but there was plenty of that back home... After exploring the trees and grassy areas for a little while and finding neither more interesting stores nor an acceptable selection of pretty girls afoot, he turned around to head back to the central area. Maybe it was time to rethink his strategy.

As he turned, however, he did spot something interesting.

"Lady Kagome?"

His voice was quiet, more musing to himself than calling to her. She looked rather upset, and he wasn't even sure she was supposed to be up and about yet. He hadn't pried into what had happened before he had arrived, but it seemed she had been bedridden for quite some time. More than that, she was just sort of staring blankly ahead as she moved--the Kagome he knew rarely walked without purpose.

Something must have been wrong.

Jogging toward her, the rings of his shakujou jangling softly, he came up alongside her and reached out, one hand alighting carefully on her shoulder.

"Lady Kagome," he said, to her this time, and fell into step next to her. "Are you all right? It isn't like you to be so... aimless."

Unconsciously, she had headed towards the park because it represented peace and a source of comfort. She would have headed towards the forest, but the park was closer.

She didn't hear his voice, as she continued walking on. When she felt his shoulder, she jumped slightly. She glanced at him, but her eyes were still slightly unfocused.

"I need to leave here."
