I just realized...
...the race I am doing on Sunday is the second in a series. In the first of the series a total of 7 people raced at the distance I am racing. There was only one woman. If this holds true for the race this Sunday, I am guaranteed to podium in my first Olympic distance Triathlon (I know one other woman who is racing this distance).
