Mr. Whiskers' Piss Problem
Since I'm on the subject, I may as well write about another employee I've had to deal with recently.
The employee is in his 70's and looks like a rat. "Mr. Whiskers" has a problem pissing on himself. This isn't a small problem mind you, it's a very BIG problem considering that his job requires him to shuttle CLEAN vehicles to our lot.
It's also a big problem because the dumb son of a bitch doesn't take care of the issue, preferring to sit in his own piss and fuck up cars and our own shuttle van.
A couple weeks ago we received a customer complaint that our car smelled like piss. That's because Mr Whiskers pissed a puddle in the seat. For the third time he was taken inside and verbally reprimanded. He was told he would have to start wearing Depends or some pads or something. the general manager then looked into whether he could terminate Mr. Whiskers due to his piss problem.
As I had just come in to work, I was unaware of the situation. The GM asked me to ride in the shuttle van with him while we shuttled a few cars so he could update me on the day's events. I hopped in the front seat while he told me the situation. As he began to run down the problems he had with Mr. Whiskers I noticed my seat was wet. I got up and I'll be goddamned if I hadn't sat in another puddle of Mr. Whiskers' piss.
The irony is that's not enough to fire the old bastard. Since it is a documented medical problem that he has the only thing we can legally do is put him on "medical leave."
At least he doesn't curse me!
