I'm confused and a little freaked out by what "reinforced around the buttock area with duct tape" could possibly mean. It sounds very "Breakfast Club", and not in a good way.

Inside the pants. Because the plastic seams were looking unstable, and I wanted one more wearing before pantal retirement.

Duct tape inside the pants!? Sounds v. uncomfortable, in either the buttockal or crotchal regions. Then again, I've never tried it, so perhaps I don't know what I'm missing in the pantal department.

Very "Breakfast Club"? I was thinking more "Pretty Woman" (lots o' straps--mmmm), with a bit of "My Name Is Earl" thrown in for that extra dash of irreverence.
