Before I begin, allow me to preface: I am bored. I detest my job and I do anything I can to avoid actually doing it. Today I went on a search for Sam's PLU La Vie Boheme video clip thing, and came across her version of what's to follow. It was so enticing, I couldn't resist. Sam, you're irresistable.

1.) How am I feeling today? "My One True Friend" Bette Midler -- ummmm, k.
2.) Where will I get Married? "I Dare You to Move" Switchfoot -- "welcome to the planet, welcome to existence...everyone's here, everyone's here, everyone is watching you now, everybody waits for you now....what happens next?" Sounds like a wedding, I guess. Somewhere on the planet.
3.) What is my best friend's theme song? "Blister in the Sun" Violent Femmes -- Let Abby go on like a blister in the sun? She doesn't have exceptionally big hands. Oh well.
4.) What is/was highschool like? "Scooby Doo" Cypress Hill.....I don't even know that song. Why is it on my iPod? The lyrics are typical Cypress Hill, though -- "dropped the gat"...."I remember the time them niggas tried to get me"....who knows?
5.) What is the best thing about me? "Hell Yeah" Ginuwine ft. Baby -- "so fresh, so fly, so sweet, so polite..." yeah, that's me.
6.) How is today going to be? "I Know" Jude -- "you've got such a pretty smile / it's a shame the things you hide behind it.....I know there's nowhere you can hide it / I know the feeling of alone"....god that's a pretty song. Melancholy, though. Like my evening will be without Nate.

8.) What song describes my parents? "Silver & Gold" U2 -- this must be my biological parents....actually I have no idea. It's a song about being in prison and breaking out of captivity (both literal and figurative)....I guess that's how my mom would look at it.

"Your Heart is an Empty Room" Death Cab for Cutie -- "and all you see is where else you could be when you're at home.....and out on the street are so many possibilities to not be alone." I love being at home, I don't know what that's about. Maybe I'm in denial. I love Death Cab.

"I Can't Let You Go" Usher -- okay, so it's about this guy who keeps wanting to leave his girl but he's they've got this crazy chemistry that he can't give up....it's kind of a raunchy song, but....the title is the kind of sentiment I expect at my funeral!

16.) Will I ever have children? "Mama, You Got a Daughter" John Lee Hooker -- this whole song/destiny thing is kind of freaking me out. Too bad this song is *actually* about a young buck trying to coax a pretty little thing's mother into hooking them up. At least someone will love my daughter.

21.) Will you get married? "Munky River" The Presidents of the United States of America -- okay, first of all, this song is total nonsense. And, the only suggestion is "I'm solo in a rawhide canoe" and I don't know how relevant that is to marriage.
