I finished my poem. It's under the cut, but be weary, because you are about to enter the deepest, darkest places of my emmotions...not really, but if you have nothing better to do, feel free to take a look.
Fulfillment
By Ben Kessler
Springing high up into the night
A pillar of red fire,
Invoking inexorable desire,
Shines with bright light
That encompasses in the sky
Two crescent moons,
Shining bright blue in the gloom
A light which cannot die.
To the right are peaks of ivory,
Enclosed by pink hills,
The sight bringing chills,
To any passerby
On the white plain
Where all these shadows fall,
Embraced by them all,
And unable to cause pain.
No more can be asked for
Than that which does
Encompass,
Enclose,
Embrace.
For I wake, rub my eyes
And then behold
Her face.
everyone should come to the all state jazz band concert. It's this friday, at 8pm, at the Galt House West Meznannine Ballroom. Tickets are $8 and you can get them at the door. It's a damn good concert, and I would love it if random people showed up. so yeah, give me a holla
things seem to be changing....it's better not to fight it
