Lucifer season 4 eps 2-6

I was going to write a brief pre-finale post about Game of Thrones and how I'm fine with whatever happens in it because I don't really care that much (except about Drogon the dragon, but I know he's going down with Dany, so ), but then I decided I don't care so much I can't be bothered to write it (I'm sure it'll look amazing whatever happens), so here's another post about Lucifer season 4.

I'm getting through it much quicker than I thought I would. I watched ep 6 this morning.

I'm extremely uncritical about this show, as I expect everyone knows, but there continues to be a lot less in season 4 for me to be critical about anyway - if I was going to be critical, that is.

I love the increased supernatural element - was so pleased when Eve and Maze had their conversation about Lilith (Mazikeen's mother, as anyone who has read the comics will know, as well as the woman Eve replaced as Adam's wife)- and when Remiel showed up (even if she is completely different to Remiel in the comics). I love Eve too. Inbar Lavi is terrific. She makes the character very likeable, despite the fact she's obviously bad for Lucifer.

Most of the characters have been getting good storylines (Trixie's hardly been in it, but her appearances have been pretty memorable). The only storyline I'm not too keen on is Amenadiel, Linda and the angel-baby. I know they probably went with it because of Rachael Harris being pregnant in real life, but I'm slightly miffed the baby is a boy. I think, since they're bringing more elements from the comics into the series (albeit very diluted down), the baby should be a girl, who'll be called Elaine. Oh well.

Anyway, four episodes to go. Intrigued to see what'll happen with these bat wings. In the comics, Lucifer's wings seemed to change from giant bat wings to standard angel wings for no reason that I could ever make out, so will be interested to see what explanation for the transformation the show comes up with - whether it's simply down to the fact of Lucifer being with Eve, or if there's some other reason too.
