Team Fortress 2 is so hella hotness. Hopefully it'll attract an audience with the console crowd.
I'm just about to start using a different class other than soldier. The soldier gameplay is a lot like classic rocket arena deathmatch (except limited to 4 rockets per load), so it totally suits my playstyle...but god damn if the pyro isn't tempting as hell to play as (especially on a public server).
Hopefully the epidemic that's spreading across public servers right now of everyone wanting to be a spy passes over once people realize the strengths of the other classes. The game is so fucking deliciously well balanced it's insane.
The one thing that remains prevalent from all the commentary is that everything is overpowered. so i guess is means everything is balanced.
I've been enjoying the relaxed nature of the engineer and the hectic "burn everything that moves" nature of the pyro. Its beautiful when you divert the enemy offensive push with a hidden sentry gun or the flame thrower. i also like to note that team play is a must in this game! a good team cam crush opposition.
Team Fortress 2 sounds pretty great. I liked Team Fortress Classic, and the idea of being a part of a team with little bits and pieces working together (other than a team of guys with guns that they like who may or may not be good at headshots, like Counter-Strike) is something I always go for.
The last thing I bought on Steam, though, man... it was The Ship. It's almost impossible to be any good at that game. Even though the whole Sims-style needs setup was supposed to set up points where your quarry is defenseless and vulnerable, I pretty much never died while on the can or taking a nap. It was always either when the person hunting me realized I was his target (after hastily drawing our weapons and preparing to do battle) or the opposite. But I digress.
Hopefully I'll get a job soon. I'm looking forward to flipping through the classes and either finding a niche I'm really good at or just being the team's utility player.
I've played the first Halo, though not extensively as you have, but just wasn't into it. Skipped Halo 2, and now am in the middle of the third one. Safe and generic are the exact terms that come to mind. It's ok so far, but I really haven't had the chance to fully explore all of the choices so far. But again, like you stated, I'm not sure if I want to when it comes to the multiplayer portion, as there's probably a 10-year old who can whip my ass in a matter of seconds.
I used to play it a lot. " Well, naturally. Posted at Z | Comments Security Council Extends Iraq MNF Mandate Through [ ArmyLawyer ] UN council extends U.
