Zekk yawns, blinking sleepily in the morning light. He turns to lie on his back, one hand reaching out across the sheets. It lands on top of something warm. Something that he doesn't remember being in his bed.

Still foggy with sleep, he reaches out again to explore and try to figure out what the object is.

He is rewarded with a muffled sound of protest, and more furious snuggling as a sleepy blonde readjusts, trying to find the warmest spot on the bed.

Her feet are a bit chilly in the morning. But that is why Zekk is there, after all. To warm them up!

He yawns again, and decides that whatever this object is, it's warmer than the lack of sheets and blankets he's currently dealing with.

So Zekk pulls it closer, trying to get warmer. Lame attempt, but he's not really coherent yet.

Tahiri's eyelids flutter, and she spends a few blissful moments trying to figure out why the bed feels so small.

'S warm too. Maybe winter's final--

Her eyes snap open, catching sight of Zekk asleep next to her. "Aw kriff."

The sound of a voice gets Zekk's attention. There's not supposed to be any voices in his bed.

Reluctantly, he opens his eyes to look around. They settle on a blond head of hair not too far from his own, and a body tucked under his arm.

"Tahiri?"

Tahiri squeezes her eyes shut for a count of five. Maybe this is all a dream, and when she wakes up...

Nope, still there. Sigh.

"Morning," she replies, peeking up out of her happy little nest of sheets. "Sleep well?"

He lets go of Tahiri and props himself up on some of the pillows, tugging at one of the blankets to better cover himself with.

There's some quiet clicking and blinking as Zekk retraces the events of last night in his mind.

"Suppose so." Zekk glances down at her. "You?"

"Yeah."

Tahiri gives a jawbreaking yawn and stretches, then pulls one of the lighter sheets around her to, uh. 'Preserve her modesty.'

Not that it'll do much good now.

She eyes the dark-haired Jedi warily. "So."

Zekk nods absently, scratching at his head. He frowns a little, but his eyes don't leave Tahiri's face.

In an attempt to be helpful, he grins softly at her. "About last night?"

"Never happened?" she asks, slightly disappointed.

That's the option she expects him to choose. It's the one she would go for, in a similar situation.

But then... Jaina must know. And Sam does, obviously. Not exactly the kind of thing you can cover up.

He gives a small shrug, also looking a little dissapointed. "If you say so."

In the back of his mind, he can feel Jaina start to stir out of slumber. This isn't going to be good.

"We enjoyed it though." Zekk smirks at her. "You're not bad... for a sandflea, that is."

"High praise, coming from a dirty vent crawler," she snorts. But yes, she's still smiling. Zekk wasn't half-bad either... not that she has anything to judge by.

Tahiri groans and pulls the sheet back up over her head. "She's going to kill us, you know."

Zekk shakes his head and pulls the sheets down to her neck to expose her face again. He was sort of enjoying looking at her.

"Yeah, maybe. But it's not our fault. Just a little cuddling between friends, right?"

Tahiri stares back skeptically. "Just a little cuddling my foot. There was more to it than that."

He grins down at her, rubbing at his neck. "Don't tell anyone, but we're going to agree with you on this one."

"Smart man," she grins.

Then there's a pause as she tries to figure out what else to say. 'Thanks,' just sounds funny, for some reason.
