Once upon a time there was a man named Luke Skywalker. He saved the galaxy a couple of times, and eventually decided he didn't want to be the only Jedi anymore, so he set up an Academy on Yavin IV to train the next generation

Would he be surprised if the stream of water stopped a handspan from her forehead and puddled on an invisible plain before running down over the rock toward the not!river?
Tahiri's eyes are still closed and she doesn't seem to have moved a muscle. Though the corner of her mouth is starting to twitch.
"I wasn't sleeping," she says, sitting up with a grin. "At least, I haven't been for a few minutes. And it serves you right, trying to pour water on me. I bet it was cold, too."
"Says you," Zekk retorts, placing the now empty jug on the ground and scooting over on to the rock next to her. "We all know the truth. You were out like a glowlamp."
"Was too," comes the last second response as Zekk shifts around on the rock to get more comfortable. His eyes spot a leaf fall into the stream, creating ripples and suddenly Zekk's taken back to more than ten years ago to another Jedi Academy and another stream and another group of people.
"Just tried comming Jaina. Should've known she wasn't there."
"Based on her frustration, I'd say she's dealing with some uncooperative merchant."
It's dim and faded - because of the long distance between them - but the echo of the mindmeld is still there. He frowns momentarily, remembering the fight between the women before Tahiri had left.
He smirks at her, tightening his arm around her in a quick squeeze.
"I don't think she's been back here since she moved to Csilla. Saw her in Milliways a couple of times, and when I brought Aeryn to Csilla for a visit, but that's it. It's mostly been holos back and forth."
She leans her head against his shoulder, gazing out over the landscape. "Ah, Milliways-- something else I haven't seen in a while." There's another frown. "Oh sithspit. I had a job there, didn't I? Wonder how long I've been away from it."
"You could just go back for a short trip. I'll go with you!" Zekk adds in quickly, grinning brightly at her. "Quick vacation away from the younglings. It's not like there's anything going on with the galaxy that needs us right now."
For once. It's making Zekk a little restless, truth be told.
Maybe, if he gets lucky, she'll blame it on the stream. Or, maybe not.
No matter, with a smirk on his face, Zekk slowly approaches Tahiri, tipping the jug slowly over her head...
Sometimes, they started prank wars as well.

He knows she's awake now - there's no fooling this Jedi. Except, well, when you do.
Zekk kneels down next to the rock, pushing a stray strand of hair out of her eyes. "Gonna stop pretending to sleep now?"

Tahiri hasn't spoken to Jaina in... well, she doesn't know how long. Too long, probably. She should try and give the girl a call sometime.

"Ever think about contacting her yourself?"

"Yeah, just to catch up, and stuff. How long has it been since she came back to Ossus to visit?"

Then the Jedi blinks and looks down at Tahiri. "Yeah, yeah you did. Force, what do you think happened to it?"

She'll probably end up resigning. After all, she can't stay at Milliways anymore-- she's got duties as a Jedi, and those come first. Always.
