[Beast Boy coughs a little into the phone and seems to pitch his voice a little higher.]

Yeah, like I've never heard that before. I'm just thankful Raven hasn't heard me yet.

Is she a friend of yours here?

Yeah, we're on the same team at home. You know her at all?

No, I'm afraid not.

[He sounds warm, pleased.]

But it's great that you have someone from home here.

Yeah, there are a few big names from my home around here, but I don't know any of them aside from by reputation. Seems like we're popular.

You're celebrities back home?

Superheroes, celebrities. Everyone ends up knowing your name, either way.

Oh, wow! A superhero!

[He sounds SO RIDICULOUSLY EXCITED!]

We don't have any where I'm from; but my friend, Mr. Kent, has been telling me all about one called Superman from his world.

Superman? Yeah, he's probably the greatest hero we've got. Everyone loves Superman.

You're from that world too?

[Wow, Clark would probably be happy to hear some more people from his world had shown up.]

Sure. I live in Jump City; Supe's pretty far over in Metropolis.

[kinships]

Mr. Kent said that Superman was an alien with various powers. Excuse me for asking, but are you too?

[shapechanger]

Nah, Star's the alien on our team. I'm just a... I guess you could call me a lab accident.
