Hey, does anybody knows the lyrics to the nagging song? )

You know, there are similarities books of the same genre share and then there's this book.

/Oh, that's right, because he's hot. *eyeroll* /

(facepalm) I know! Whatever happened to liking somebody because he's nice or she's smart. This just makes me love more books like Ella Enchanted. Ella Enchanted was very simplistic and padded at times but the romance was adorable! They like eachother because of interior qualities more than being smoldering. Heck, a whole year was dedicated to writing letters to each other!

And I hear you on love triangles. I HATE them. I can't think of a single one that has made me squee. Relationships are so complex in themselves, why add unnecessary drama? Plus love triangles tend to destroy characters and turns the whole situation into a wank fest.

That is not to say I mind when more than one person loves somebody as long as it's handled with care. I didn't mind Dr. Cox crushing on Carla because he respected that she loved Turk, M.Dame Leufoux loves Alexia but Alexia is not a lesbian so she's there as her friend and so forth. I just hate the idea of "All is fair in love and war" because the characters end up acting like dicks and hardly show real love.
