I think LJ is definitely doing a good job to keep the community alive. I've been waiting for Blogger to come out with an app that I can PO but to no avail. Then LJ gave me this. May have to seriously considering switching to LJ from Blogger.
On another note, no harm keeping another 'home' to PO. Afterall there are too many things that I simple can't tell in Blogger. For eg my relationship, PLU friends etc. Hence perhaps it's a better way for me to keep another PO home here.
Only if I have readers here. Hehe
