I am AWAKE. Not just awake. AWAKE. I plan on killing this mood soon.
Today Kasey and Nic and I went to Crankers. Well, we went to Meijer first, and I had to take the dark-circle under-the-eye cream that Nic was going to buy and throw it up on a high shelf so that he couldn't waste his money on it.
But THEN we went to Crankers.
Lots of 25+ year-olds that had been drinking/tubing. We got 10% off our bill because we had to wait so long. They were highly understaffed, and I wanted to get up and help them take drink orders or something.
But alas, you can't do that in BRap. Or anywhere for that matter.
I played Uno, lost all except the last game. What a ridiculous time.
Thursday-Friday James is supposed to be visiting [I still need a little more information on that, bucko... I am not one to entertain, and now you have this French foreign exchange guy that I am expected to engross in our awesome culture, even though my resources here at Ferris are extremely low, especially if he hates karaoke, so now I'm nervous I'm going to F*@# up and he's going to hate me and hate Michigan and hate America and wonder why you made him come here in the first place]. Friday-Saturday Adam is supposed to visit [and he wants to meet James, but I don't think they will overlap because Adam works until 4]. Saturday Taber is supposed to come, and maybe Nick, and maybe Gwiz [?], and maybe Whitney. I haven't heard from Jen at all. SO. Those of you that are on the maybe list, you need to tell me what's up. And Taber, I need to know what time you're coming, because apparently everyone is basing their arrival on you. Hah. Bridgman Nick wants to come but he works until 3 or 2 or something, so if we eat at Taco Bell or somewhere we should do it after that so that he can come and say hi. Uhhh.
What have I NOT done yet? Oh yeah, my research paper. I am tempted to stay up tonight and do it, but I won't, because then I'll sleep forever. Instead, I will get up tomorrow [via a set alarm], and do it. That's that.
I need to update my website more, add more movies. It's fairly easy to add them, though I often forget little things and then I have to go back in and change them and it gets repetitive and I get bored. I do have over 100 movies to add still, though.
I keep wasting all of my skips [you only get 5/hour on this radio thing] on RAP songs because somehow before I even USED this radio it thought my favorite genres were RAP and UNDERGROUND RAP and even though I changed them it STILL thinks I really LOVE RAP and I DON'T.
So now I keep getting really dumb rap and R&B and now Nickelback. HARGLKMASD. NICKELBACK. I've been rating songs like crazy so that this wouldn't happen. But apparently people that like the Goo Goo Dolls really like and recommend Nickelback. So I have to deal. Oh, and Goo Goo Doll fans really like Liz Phair, too. Did YOU know that? Thank goodness there is a 'never play this again' option. Some songs I have heard a few too many times in my life, especially considering this one is on Karaoke Revolution, which I've played a billion times, and everyone always likes to sing the pop songs.
I have my weird zigzag pink flannel thing on. I didn't really think I'd ever get to wear it in July, but here I am, clothed in flannel. I'm actually still a little chill-ay. Weird? Weird.
I just found ANOTHER HUGE SPIDER in my room. I found one earlier but I got rid of it, and here there is another. That freaks me out. I'm glad I sleep up high, even though I am fully aware spiders are capable of climbing.
