Ducks, rests, and underwear

Today was actually quite fun. All this morning I did outlines, but at 3:30 I left for band rehersal were we practiced for about an hour before loading the buses for JMHS. Em, Nat, Rachel, Austin, Kenzie, and I had a great conversation that shant be repeated here, but I will let it be known that I do love having them as friends. We got straight ones at festival, as did concert band the night before, so it must be concluded that the judges were either: lacking of the ear drums and ears, high, or a combination of the two. After the competition, Em, Adam, Diana, and I ate out at Baja Fresh. I did invite Austin and Rachel, but they mysteriously vanished after we left them at school for Baja. Hmmmmmm....
But the drive to Baja was the best part of the night. Em and I left before eveyone else so that I could pick up my cell phone from my house and then headed back out. Well, I missed my turn for Baja and had to head onto 50 east (unable to turn into the shopping center) and turn into the car dealership parking lot, circle it and Anita's before finding a way onto the back road so that I could cross 50 again and turn into the CVS and then to Baja. Many speed bumps, u-turns, stalled engines, and shiftings later, we arrived.
Even after all of that, we still were the first ones to get to Baja. So we ordered our food and about ten minutes later Adam and Diana showed up. It was another good part of the night with the fooding and chatting which eventualy lead us to get dessert at Milwakee Frozen custard.
When all was said and eaton, I drove Em home (without getting lost, but still missing turns) and nearly drove over a opposum on my way home.
Cool day, fun night, and now I can't wait to go to sleep.
