Everybody wants to be married!!! Why can't they see that marriage sucks! The divorce rate is higher then the breaking up rate among all people. I mean you are feeling great and want to share your life with someone special. so you can A. live with them and have most of the benefits of marriage or B. marry them then find out that it takes a whole hell of a lot of time and money and emotions to just get rid of them instead of just walking out the door if you find out that you are incompatible and nothing is going to change. Remember when you live with someone you still have that edge that they can leave at anytime so you try harder to make it work. With marriage, hey you have bought the "cow" so to speak, so it is yours to do with however you please. Harder to leave and you can't sell it like other possessions.
Marriage also means you now have the government breathing down your backs telling you what is good for a marriage and family life and what is harmful, then when you try top follow their suggestions you end up in a loveless battle for space of your own.
I am married. Would I recommend it to anyone else? Only my worst enemies!!
