Not Much Time Today
Working a bike race in Todd today, so I have to be quick here. Here's hoping for a fun and financially successful day!
I've managed to write a little something every day since I returned from Atlanta. I'd like to do even more this weekend (Sunday-Monday for me) if there is time.
I'm going to watch the hockey game tonight (Let's go 'Canes!). Then we've got Rob, Rory, Kiwaku, and Zeit coming out to the house Sunday, and hopefully we'll do lunch out somewhere. I'm not sure what will be open on Easter Sunday, aside from church. And while a fur-meet at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church would be really fun, I'm not sure how well that would go over LOL. Monday is pajama day, when I get all my laundry done! Since I do the office laundry (massage linens), there is a LOT of it! That makes Monday a perfect day for writing and knitting, with a break every 90 minutes or so for folding laundry.
I've been waffling a bit over continuing to work on my LOTR fan fic, or starting something new and furry. Ki and I came up with a great premise for a story while we were at FWA. I just need to come up with characters and general plot. I'm not a big outliner, because my characters tend to take over the story and the outline goes out the window! So, I usually just write down a starting point and a finish point, and maybe a general idea or two for the middle of the story.
It's about that time so I better get on out of here. Hope everyone has a happy Easter, whether you are celebrating the Risen Lord or the beauty of spring, or both! *hugs*
