Random Stuff 11

2) I'm alive! (Sort of.)
3) Some quick things, bad news and good news real life wise:
Bad news: My grandmother has passed away. Starting to distrust the month of January, people keep dying that month. It's just, she's always been there. I lived with her for a couple of years. She had recently gone to live in an old people home, and I'd figured I'd get more chances to visit her there. That said, she was suffering from pain in her leg and rapidly approaching dementia, so I guess the passing on was the best for her. And at least I got to give her one last Christmas present: A kirschball!
Good news: I've made some headway in my studies, passing a couple of heavy courses. Started therapy. Got some semblance of order in my home, which should encourage order in my life in general. So, things are looking so and so. Gotta take the good with the bad, and all.
4) I've also gotten really much into Star Trek and Sherlock. So, really looking forward to the new Star Trek movie coming out. Then I will also have seen both Star Wars and Star Trek in the theaters. :D Have also begun reading the original Sherlock Holmes stories, which I haven't done since I was a teenager. And even then I mostly read A Study in Scarlet, and one or two short story collections.
5) It will not cease to amuse me that the Sherlock Holmes fandom takes the original author's hatred of his own creation and its fandom, as part of the package. XD It's refreshing to know that no matter what you ship, or what you think of one installment in comparison to another, the author hated your fannish devotion the same.
6) Also, I've learned how to gif!
Be very frightened. Bwahahahaha!! ETA: WTH, photobucket! Why so tiny? Oh well, I'll fix it later. I really should be doing other stuff, but I felt I've gone too damn long without posting.
7) Goddammit, dizzy spell! (Stupid cold from last week, clogging up my sinuses!)
