(no subject)
First and foremost, my thoughts are with the people in Oslo, I had just met up with my brother in Skövde when I saw the news. I admire the resolve of the Norwegian people to counter the hate of this man with love and democracy.
Other than that, well, my camping vacation is over since some days, I just haven't posted until now. When I was meeting up with my bro, we went and saw Deathly Hallows part 2, so I'll write up a fandom babble on that later. Seriously, I didn't see DH1 or HBP, and was all "yeah, I'm all over HP any way" and then I saw that movie and all the HP geekery bubbled up just like that. I wish I knew how to quit you, Harry Potter!
Also, Star Trek. Watched movies II-IV with my brother, because he seriously needed to see Wrath of Khan. I have no idea how he managed to survive so long on the internet without being spoiled about the ending to that one. I'm glad I assumed he hadn't been spoiled.
Addition: This was written last wednesday, but LJ was wonky and the next day I left to see my brother who now has the car. DH2-reactions-post will come eventually.
