Math!

1) There's a lot of things I don't like about being a substitue teacher and a lot of things I do like about it. But one thing I most definately love is whenever get even one chance to help a kid with math. ♥ To me, math has always been the most simple of studies, the most wonderful elegance of the logic of numbers. Not a lot to keep in your head, ( Read more... )

1) MYH! (My expression of being miffed.) Although technically there wasn't math in there. Just my own theories of why people have problems with math. Namely that of mental roadblocks. So basically you're proving my theory here. :P *ducks guitar*

2) If you had more confidence in yourself, I would have recommended substitute teaching. Because then you would be getting lots of working experience while still not working fulltime, and devote your free time to finding the jobs you really want. But unfortunately, having even a slightily less than average confidence in yourself and you're toast. It's been a regular mental exercise to remind myself that I shouldn't feel bad if a fourteen year old thinks I'm ugly. They have no taste. And they have no perception. They can't see beyound the chubby waist and glasses. A chubby waist that I am reducing with my workout, and glasses that I wear because I don't waste the effort on putting in lenses for putting up a show for kids who think they know everything except they don't.
Sorry for the ramble.

3) Don't worry, I do make sure to enjoy my non-existing interest. ^^ Even with all the political posts on the flist, I make due. Plus I'm really enjoying my personal joke.

4) Yes! I've been getting some of those episodes. While one could make a paralell to Superman/Lois, with Bruce making the same mistake as Clark, in that he wants the girl to love him in his pretend persona (Batman being more of the person he really is), what makes Batman/Catwoman dynamics different is that she's a criminal, he a crimefighter. That two-parter introducing Catwoman where he arrests her at the end is a bit of a tear-jerker. But a favorite is when he is in a dream where experiences what his life would be like in an ideal world, where his parents are alive and he doesn't have to fight with the joker because someone else is Batman, and Bruce is engaged to Selina. In his ideal world he's about to marry her!

5) Maybe but I've been working myself from zero exercise up to swimming a km, but it's a process. It will be increased with time.

6) The world needs more of my random! I shall provide.

1. When I count money, I triple check, actually I do more than that. Maybe twelve times. It's bad. My brother is the human calculator.

2. *whimpers* T_T I already experience that. My brother knows exactly what subject to hit to send me into meltdown mode. Not pretty. I can't imagine 10 other kids doing the same. Don't worry about the ramble. We all do it.

3. Great. I actually only have to do with two of them, one on each side. The torture comes from watching the news and the blogs I read.

4. Lovely relationship. The show's reruning on Toon Disney, but I haven't been able to catch it much, I can't remember my favorite episodes. I don't think I watched the dream episode much due to him freaking out and everyone thinking he's crazy, but it does show he's quite attached to her. XD

5. Ah. Okay.

6. Yes! World accepts! XD
