(no subject)
1) Yay another test behind me! (Or well, not really behind me since I have great reason to suspect that I'll have to do this one over, but that's okay, as today can be considered a tactical defeat.)
2) I really shouldn't walk up to a guy who has a sign that says "Jesus cares about you" and ask which Jesus, should I? BTW, he answered there's only one, and I pointed out that it's a fairly common first name in Spain and Latinamerika. (Was tempted to go up to him again and point out that there wasn't just one Messiah back in Jerusalem either, but I decided enough was enough.)
To clarify: I don't dislike Jesus, the religion that follows some of his teachings and make the rest up, or think all christians are stupid or something like that. My beef is with people who go belong to the Everyone-must-have-the-same-religion-as-me-or-we'll-die-church. Which just happens to be more common in Christianity and Buddhism, and thus why I bitch more about those specific religions. Scientology also have a fair ammount of that church incorporated into it, but there are so many more reasons to dislike them anyway.
3)I want to babble fandom...
Ask my opinion on anything in these fandoms:
Harry Potter
Stargate SG 1, Season 1. (I haven't seen the others yet, okay?)
Simpsons. (Bonus cookies if you ask me to expand on the movie, season 17 and/or my icon. Or anything that involves Homer, Lisa or their father-daughter-bond.)
Star Wars. (I'll only take EU if it doesn't go beyound or too deep into NJO.)
Crossover crack. (I'm just giddy that all sources confirm that it was JK who said "He grows up and marries you" to Lisa, and not some impersonator. Yay for the most canon Harry-ship!)
