-Being unemployed. Still no job, although I'm applying to a course to get CELTA certified so I can teach English abroad. Ideally, I'll be going in June and then I'm hoping to be somewhere else before the worst of winter starts.
-Taking courses. At the local community college, so I can have something to fill my days. Ideally I'd really just sit around and not go anywhere all day, but then for how much longer will I have people willing to help me pay for college courses? I'm taking Chinese, Spanish, Comparative Politics, and the most pathetic educational psychology course ever.
-Watching Indian movies (Raja Hindustani, Anukokunda Oka Roju, Jodhaa Akbar, and others).
-Deciding I need to learn how to play mahjong (thank you, Kung Fu Mahjong and Kung Fu Mahjong 2).
-Watching Star Trek. (Finished DS9. Awesome. Finished the first season of Voyager. Freaking hate all the blather about the Prime Directive.)
-Playing The Sims 2. I actually find most of it really boring, but I've become weirdly obsessed with Sim genetics and seeing what their children look like.
-Doing this meme:
You were born during a Third Quarter moon
- what it says about you -
You like to make up your own mind. You may find it hard to relate to mainstream opinions on issues, and you definitely don't always like what's popular. You can work out solutions and give birth to big ideas when left to yourself, and other people will be impressed with your conclusions even if they're not sure how you arrived at them.
