Hoo boy. I really need to start posting more regularly again. Anyway, we went to see Pyaar Impossible last weekend. I actually enjoyed it, which was a surprise because I didn't have a whole lot of faith in Uday's writing skills. It was a cute movie, though--there were some plot holes and such--but it was still a lot of fun, more fun than a lot of the other romantic comedies that seem to get made these days. I'd definitely recommend it.

In other news, I was semi-watching a show on UFOs today when I had a thought. I love shows like Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures, and while I wouldn't quite call myself a believer in ghosts, I think with the right evidence I could be convinced. (As much as I'd like to believe in some of the supposed evidence that I see on those shows, anything on TV could be faked so I can't bring myself to really accept it as anything beyond entertainment.)

However, I found myself laughing at the UFOlogists on the show because it was just so unbelievable to me. I kind of felt bad about it because I love my ghost shows so much, so I started wondering--as someone who really wants to believe in ghosts (I have had a ghost experience, but not one that was so decisive as to knock me completely off the fence into believer territory) why do I find the idea of UFOs so ridiculous? And what do you, my LJ flist, think? Do you believe in both? Neither? Only one or the other? Why?

Just in case anyone feels uncomfortable answering for the world to see, I've turned on comment-screening for this entry. If you're okay with me doing so, just make a note of it and I'll un-screen your comment. You can also comment anonymously.
