Homeward Bound!
All the repairs and cleaning are finally done at my Mom's house! YAY!!!
Mom and I are packing up all the stuff that we accumulated in the two months we've been in this hotel room (it has started to look like a dorm room) and are meeting our friends at the house at about 1:30.
They have all been working so hard and I can't wait to see how it looks! From what little I have heard they have repainted walls, replaced old worn out carpeting, fixed the front steps, redid the entire bathroom (the original plumbing was poorly done), added counter space in the kitchen, and fixed the back door so it doesn't leak air any more. They keep saying we're hardly gonna recognize the place.
I have to say I'm excited! I've been living in one room for two months now and it will be nice to have a house again. And the timing couldn't be better; I go in tomorrow to get my mediport taken out and it will be nice to have a real home to come back to afterwords.
I can't wait to see everyone and thank them for all of their hard work!
