Omona SNAFU
All I can say about this situation is what in the fuck?
I wasn't online when these posts were being submitted so I was not apart of the decision to "ban" the article. But I can see why the mods online at the time thought it was a good reason to ban it given that we have been bombarded recently with questions like "why do you deliberately let articles through that will cause wank?" and "please don't let posts that will spawn obvious wank through. it's ruining omona and no one needs them".
In this case you're damned if you do and damned if you don't.
Personally I would have let it through and just got it over with. It happened. It is "news" in it's own way. But if past controversial posts are any indication of how this post would turn out you can bet it wouldn't be pretty in there. And members would be pissed off at the mods for letting the post through lol
I think the most laughable part of it is that people think we didn't approve it because we were protecting the ~*oppa*~. I could not care less about him. The mods that were on at the time we're actually black so I don't see why they would be protecting him. I'm pretty sure the main objective of those mods was to keep omona from melting down which obviously happened anyways.
Being attacked when you weren't even involved in the whole decision and definitely not what happened after is a tad annoying. Can't say I'm surprised though. ALL MODS = EVIL DICTATORS ammirite?
Omona was born because of wank and it seems almost fitting she goes down because of wank.
